Good day all. With the COVID crisis, things have been pretty confusing as of late. Due to the lockdowns, the Provincial Highway Clean-up originally scheduled for the first Saturday in May has been rescheduled to this coming Saturday, Sept 19, 2020. In the past, we’ve paid an hourly rate to those who were willing to assist, and provided lunch, water, snacks and transportation to all. This year however, will be a little different, as we must avoid large gatherings. Attendees will be paid per kilometer, that way if you choose to use your own vehicle, you can register and be allocated a certain part of the highway ahead of time. Bags, gloves, water, safety vests and snacks will still be available. Donations of water will be graciously accepted, in addition to any cash donations which will be used to purchase water and snacks. Ideally, we are looking for teams to cover the areas designated, whether it be departments, families or groups that would like to raise money.
