We met in Maskwacis at Neyaskweyahk Okimaw Kamik (end of March) to talk about some of the regional issues we’re experiencing.
It has been fantastic to meet with Maskwacis leadership, including Dr Wilton Littlechild, the RCMP, Ponoka Mayor, County of Wetaskiwin Reeve and other community members.
We are working on a partnership with the provincial government to help with restorative justice and help with the high crime rates in the area.
