Leasha’s unwavering enthusiasm, tenacity, and rigorous training program, encompassing numerous hours in Maskwacîs, have resulted in this prestigious acknowledgment. Looking back on her intense training regimen, Leasha commented,
“A lot of miles on country roads near my home. Ran my long runs from Wetaskiwin Mall to Hobbema Mall. Ran 611 out by the 4 lanes all the way to the end. What’s that highway called Wetaskiwin to Hobbema”.
Her dedication and love for the sport continue to inspire, and we couldn’t be prouder. Leasha, you’ve made your community and all of us here in Maskwacîs incredibly proud!
