Today, on Red Dress Day, May 5th, we walked in honor, in remembrance, and in love for our Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls, and 2SLGBTQ+ relatives.
Each step carried the voices of those who are no longer here, and the strength of those who continue to seek truth, justice, and healing. The red dresses we see are not just symbols—they are reminders of lives taken too soon, of stories unfinished, and of families forever changed.
We walk to say their names matter. Their lives matter. They are not forgotten.
We stand together in solidarity, in grief, and in resilience. We uplift the families, the survivors, and the communities who carry this weight every day.
May we continue to raise awareness, demand accountability, and create a future where our women, girls, and 2SLGBTQ+ relatives are safe, valued, and protected.
Today we remember. Today we honor. Today we walk with purpose.
