The Maskwacis RCMP would like to remind the 4 nation’s the front counter staff at the detachment is inundated with criminal record checks, this cannot sustain moving forward. We will continue to do the checks only when the employee chosen is short listed or approved for hiring. Chief and Council and directors within the nation’s have been notified of the situation.
We are asking again the criminal record check not be standard with an application unless the person is in the final stages. Volunteer positions will continue to be checked with no issues. We hope this eliminates any confusion.
