Thank you so much to everyone who came out to the R.E.A. General Meeting. Today’s presentation was as follows:
Alberta Federation of REA’s Ltd.’s Todd Grayson made a presentation on the AFREA’s past year activities such as 2023 AGM & Conference, 2023 Summer Technical Sessions, 17th Annual Golf Charity Classic, Fall District Meetings, and MLA Dinner & Reception. He also gave a walk-through explanation of the Current High Prices of Energy within Alberta, and how in the coming months we may see a decrease in the cost of energy.
Following his presentation was Stan Orlesky, representing FortisAlberta. He presented items such as new features on the Fortis website, their new Mobile App, future plans for the next year regarding testing and repairs that have been approved, and a budget for these operations.
Last was a read-through of the REA Audit Report presented by Chris Cholak, MNP Member. He went through the financial health of the Ermineskin REA Department.
Attendees won door prizes, and Stan also had a draw for two Oilers tickets, congratulations to the winners!
