Temporary public health measures are now in effect to address increasing COVID-19 transmission and rising hospital admissions:
+ Masks are mandatory in all public spaces and workplaces
+ Schools are not required to implement masking, but school boards will continue to set policies as they deem appropriate
+ Bars, restaurants, nightclubs and other licensed establishments must end alcohol service at 10 pm
+ Albertans are encouraged to limit in-person contacts. We strongly recommend that unvaccinated Albertans limit indoor social gatherings to two cohort families, up to a maximum of 10 people.
+ Working from home is recommended. If employees are on location, they must be masked indoors, except at work stations.
