Starting November 15, proof of vaccination issued in Alberta must have a QR code to be accepted by businesses participating in the Restrictions Exemption Program. You can print the record with the code and don’t need a smartphone to use it. Older versions without the code and paper records from appointments will no longer be accepted. The following records issued by other authorities will continue to be accepted as long as they have your full name, type of vaccine and date of administration: + First Nations immunization record
+ Canadian Armed Forces immunization record
+ An official record from another Canadian province or territory International travellers can use the ArriveCan app and a valid passport.
