Reminder to be aware of telephone scams.
People calling asking for your personal information, this should not be given over the phone from those claiming to be a business or organization.
A scam stating a threat of warrant for arrest is also circulating, please ignore those calls.
One stating a claim against your Social Insurance, Number, do not give out your Social Insurance Number to these individuals.
Also claims of winning a prize, or sum of money, please be aware of these scams. Talk to your family, your elders and warn them to be aware.
