In addition to the Curfew Ermineskin Cree Nation has implemented barricades and checkpoints in efforts to keep residents safe.
These security measures are to protect the community, our Elders, our Knowledge-keepers, and our Citizens from the ongoing threat of the COVID-19 virus.
Barricades and checkpoints have been established for the area of the Ermineskin central core which includes the Townsite, Business Area, Ermineskin Public Building areas, Ermineskin Schools, Bear Park, the Panee, it also includes all homes in those vicinities.
Note : all nation members, non member residents and identified essential service workers will be allowed to enter and exit the nation for work or to obtain essential needs during the allowed recommended hours between 6 am to 10 pm.
