On Tuesday, the Confederacy of Treaty No. 6 Chiefs met with Premier Danielle Smith and her Cabinet to discuss opportunities for collaboration on shared priorities.
The Chiefs and Cabinet discussed the
importance of working together to address the ongoing mental health and addictions crisis facing our Nations. We also discussed increasing Indigenous procurement opportunities and opened the discussions regarding resource revenue sharing.We look forward to future opportunities to meet with the Premier and her Cabinet and continue these conversations.
