Maskwacis Jayhawks U12 female fastball team will be trekking to Victoria, BC for the Little League World Series Canadian Championship 🥎
Coach Tim Longjohn foreseen this team a couple years ago when our girl started playing together in Ponoka. This year Tim, Chalo Montour and Kacey Yellowbird helped to form our own First Nations team that consists of almost all Maskwacis players.
Last year we had a handful of players play for Ponoka in this tournament and they went on to play at the main Little League World Series tournament rep’n Team Canada… are hopes are that our younger group of girls make that same feat…
