This summer, Highway 2A was beaming with bright banners that celebrated the pride and talent of our Maskwacîs awâsisak ekwa oskâyak:
🎨 Art Banners — Installed on June 3, 2025
We celebrated the winners of the 2025 MESC Elementary Art Contest! From lakeside sunsets to dancing buffalo, our awâsisak let their imaginations bloom. All 30 young artists’ beautiful creations were proudly displayed! 🌷🌞
🎓 Graduation Banners — Installed last week
We also honored the 2025 Maskwacîs Graduates! These banners recognized the hard work and accomplishments of our oskâyak.
📌 Parent/Guardian Information
Due to the high number of graduates and artists, the banners were double-sided this year and will not be distributed. Families may request a digital or printed copy of their graduate’s or artist’s banner by contacting our Creative Technology Coordinator, Tom Crier at thomascrier@maskwacised.ca
