Lana,
“When I met you, I immediately liked your energy because you seemed like a lady that knows what she wants and isn’t afraid to ask for it and had everything handled. When I was hired you always talked to me with a smile. Since working with you, you have become a boss lady, a confidant and a friend. Thank you for being a great leader to our team. We will all miss you. I will miss you.”
Hugs, Shanny

“The past 3 years have shown me that genuine leadership exists, a healthy workplace that values its employees, and strong bonds that form; all blossom from awesome leaders. It was a privilege to not only have you as our director, but as a now life long friend.”

Message from Lana past Executive Director.
Working with MEC for the past 11 years has been the most wonderful and rewarding experience.
Thank you to every member of the MEC team, governance and leadership both past and present for their dedication and tireless hours working with clients and our many events.
I would also like to thank all of the elders I’ve worked with for their wisdom, guidance and prayers. MEC wouldn’t be where it is today without the ongoing support and faith from our funding partners.
MEC has evolved immensely in the past 11 years and it has been such a joy to have worked with everyone and see our clients growth and success.
It has also been refreshing to work with our many industry partners who have not only hired and trained our people, but also sponsored many of our events.
I truly wish my MEC family and friends all the best in the years to come.
Yours in employment, Lana Johnson
