Kiskisiwin ᑭᐢᑭᓯᐃᐧᐣ National Aboriginal Veterans Day was on November 8th and Remembrance Day is on November 11. Today our school had our ÎKOPIW PÎSIM assembly in the gym. Awasak made wreaths and had a moment of silence to honour the important contributions of Indigenous Peoples and Canadians who lost their lives in war. Enjoy the long weekend with your families. We will see the awasak on Tuesday, November 15th.
