(You can join us from 10am until 5pm at the Wetaskiwin District Heritage Museum – 5007-50 Ave for so many fun activities including cupcakes, our annual flag scavenger hunts and Spin the Wheel game, crafts, snow cones (!), popcorn, and so many more fun activities!)
While many look forward to celebrating today, many others find it difficult, especially as we work together as a nation towards Reconciliation with our Indigenous peoples and as we continue to learn more about the realities of the Residential School systems.
