Congratulations to my aunty Lorraine Rain for being a recipient of an 2024 Esquao Award in Culture in Edmonton last night. What a honour to be asked to attend and celebrate this prestigious award with them. Growing up I was always treated as part of the family. She continues to teach and grow our children in our Cree way of life. Taught me a lot about myself and life. A real wealth of knowledge and understanding. Proud of my first cousins and there mom! #esquaoawards2024
