Congrats to all the Men that completed The Men’s Healing Weekend during August 22-24, 2025 here in Maskwacis!
This year marks a major milestone for our community, 10 years of hosting the Maskwacis Turtle Island New Warrior Training Adventure (NWTA) at John Crier’s land/ceremonial grounds now named Camp Peace Maker.
The Men’s Healing Weekend is a sovereign chapter of The ManKind Project International and is part of a global network of men committed to healing, growth, and becoming better fathers, brothers, partners, and leaders. Led and staffed by dedicated local men from Maskwacis and supported by allies across North America, this year’s event is a celebration of a decade of resilience and community-building.
During the weekend, men gather to connect with one another, and move through ceremony, mentorship, and healing. It’s about breaking cycles, reconnecting to identity, and reclaiming strength in a good way.
Together, we continue to build a space where men can heal, reconnect, and rise. The next MKP Turtle Island training is tentatively planned for May 2026.
If you or someone you know is ready to take that step toward healing, reach out to any of our local MKP Turtle Island members for more information.
