Chief Wilton Littlechild – 2024 Kevin Carr Christian Leadership Award recipient
The Academic Senate at Newman Theological College is pleased to announce Chief Wilton Littlechild, PEB, MA, LLB, LLD (Hon). We are proud to acknowledge and celebrate his many years of devoted leadership in Indigenous and Christian communities, domestically, locally, nationally and internationally. Of particular significance is the leadership he provided to organizing and participating in the visit of the Holy Father, Pope Francis, to Canada in July 2022.
He continues to provide leadership, support and service to numerous academic, legal, and faith-based initiatives, programs and activities.
