As of May 19, 2021, the Edmonton Indigenous Services Canada office is now closed to the public (again) and are not doing status cards until further notice.
Just a reminder, your current Status Cards do not expire. Retailers should accept Status Cards even if the renewal or expiry date HAS PASSED. So keep them for identification as needed.
These Federal Indian Status Cards will be the cards to use when getting your tax exemption, the white Alberta Indian Tax Exemption cards will be discontinued after June 21, 2021.
