As a Métis person I have committed my life to support my family and Indigenous people in any way that I can.
Whether as the President/CEO for
Indigenous Tourism Association of Canada or elected President for the BC Métis Federation or in my private life assisting hockey with my brother.This past weekend it was a highlight to have so many Indigenous players on our 2008 showcase team win The Stampede Challenge.
Half of our 2008 Western Elite Xtreme team was either Métis or First Nations from BC, Alberta, and Saskatchewan.
Hockey is an amazing unifying sport!
