On Sunday I danced in the Ermineskin Cree Nation #PowWow Grand Entry w/ Chief Randy Ermineskin, Chief Desmond Bull, Chief Trevor John & other formal/informal leaders. I was grateful to offer a few words on the importance of celebrating & revitalizing our languages, culture & traditions. The following day, I provided remarks at the Western Treaty Nations #NRTA mtg hosted in Maskwacis where we discussed the #HealingPathForward to Self-Determination. I committed to supporting Chiefs as they assert First Nations’ Sovereignty & Jurisdiction over their lands & waters.
