Congratulations to Pierson Larocque of the Ermineskin Cree Nation. His team, the 12U A Red Deer Chiefs are the 2022 Calgary District Lacrosse Association Champions 🥇🏆🥍 They played their final playoff game vs the Calgary Axemen on June 29th. The Chiefs were down 3-0 after the first period and battled back to tie the game 4-4 to end the third period. After a scoreless five minute overtime, they went to a shootout. Pierson scored the game winning goal! The Red Deer Chiefs had a perfect season with 21 wins and 0 losses in the regular season (exhibition and tournament games included.)
