‘Extraordinary’ motion at chiefs gathering removes Poitras as regional chief

Alberta chiefs have supported a motion to remove Assembly of First Nations Regional Chief Marlene Poitras from the position.

The motion to change the AFN agenda and have Poitras removed was made by Ermineskin Cree Nation Chief Randy Ermineskin and seconded by Chief Silas Yellowknee of Bigstone Cree Nation.
