Recruiting Poll workers for the federal election coming up on Sept 20th.
4 poll workers positions to work at the polling place set up for Ermineskin Cree Nation members to vote at Jim Rattlesnake Sports Building.
– Sept 20th from 6:30 am to about 10:00pm (voting is from 7:30 am to 7:30 pm)
– pay is $17.72 per hour for first 8 hours than $26.58 after that
– duties include providing information to voters, registering them to vote, and helping them to cast their ballot
– paid training is provided in 3 hour sessions at Maskwacis (location to be determined) the morning or afternoon of September 14th (details to be provided)
-also available in Lacombe on other days if Sept 14th doesn’t work for someone.
Additional requirements: Interested individuals need to be double vaccinated, and show a negative covid test.
