“Heat Warning
“Issued at 04:33 Saturday 26 June 2021
“A prolonged, dangerous, and potentially historic heat wave will continue over the weekend in Alberta and persist through next week. Afternoon high temperatures will climb to the mid 30s by Sunday, and could approach or possibly exceep 40 degrees Celsius in some regions early next week.
“Little or no reprieve from the heat is expected, as overnight lows will remain between 15 and 20 degrees Celsius.
The duration and magnitude of this heat event will lead to increased risk of heat related illness.

“Heat warnings are issued when very high temperatures are dexpected to pose an elevated risk of heat illnesses, such as heat stroke or exhaustion.
