Maskwacis Cree Tribal Council is pleased to share the April 2026 program calendars for our Pathways to Healthy Lifestyles Program and Young Warriors Program. This month is filled with community activities, wellness opportunities, workshops, and cultural support for families, youth, and community members.
We are also excited to announce that the Young Warriors Program is starting a new cohort this year, creating a fresh opportunity for participants to join, learn, and grow together. As part of this month’s programming, we will be holding two community sweats this week as part of our wellness and cultural supports.
Pathways to Healthy Lifestyles Program – April Highlights
April 13–14: Mending Broken Hearts
April 20-23 2026: Spring Cleaning & Organization
April 27–30: Head to Toes Workshop
Young Warriors Program – April Highlights
April 14–17: Registration Week / Sweat Teachings.
April 17: Community Sweats, 2:00 PM (Maskwacis Jr High & Bert Bull Residence)
April 29–30: Head to Toe Workshop
Community Sweat Notice:
-We will be having two community sweats this week.
(Maskwacis Jr High & Bert Bull Residence)
-Please ensure youth have appropriate sweat attire
(Towel, shorts, skirt, change of clothes)
Snacks and refreshments are provided.
Transportation can be arranged upon request for workshops.
We look forward to another month of healing, learning, and connection with our communities.
