The orange shirt comes from the story of Phyllis Webstad, whose brand-new shirt from her grandmother was taken away on her first day. That shirt became a symbol of all that was lost, and all that still lives within us.\n\nOn September 30th, wear your orange shirt. Wear it to honor, to remember, and to stand with Indigenous peoples.
