Today, we are proud to celebrate the youth who have participated in the Young Warriors Program this year. These young leaders have chosen a path of wellness, culture, and a positive, gang-free future for our community. Today’s celebration was filled with inspiring breakout sessions that highlighted cultural knowledge, including smudge-making, handgame playing, and a “Chief & Council” game and many more! The event also keynote speaker Harlan Kingfisher, who’s genuinely passionate about the upcoming movie “Smudge the Blades” and also dedicated to inspiring young Indigenous youth! 🪶🏒
