Offering tobacco to an Elder or dancer before a question is a sign of tremendous respect. This includes an opportunity to request a photo of or with a dancer.
Don’t have any tobacco?
We will have prepared tobacco offerings available to anyone that should require one.
Don’t know if you can attend a Pow Wow?
Everyone is welcome to come and enjoy the event! Watch the vibrant, spinning colours of the ceremonial regalia as you tap your feet to the beat of powerful drums and forge new friendships among the many smiling faces in the crowd. Browse the countless Indigenous craft vendors and sample some food from our food vendors on the grounds.
