Webinar Title: Paving the Way in Renewable Energy Gleichen Solar Projects
Opening Remarks: Maureen Caisse Ward
Description: The Gleichen Solar Project (GSP) is a collaboration and partnership between Ermineskin Cree Nation and TIU Canada. It is supported by the Government of Canada through the Smart Renewables and Electrification Pathways Program (SREP). Ermineskin Cree Nation (ECN) own a fifty-one percent ownership stake in the project, leaving TIU with the remaining forty-nine percent. A ground-breaking ceremony had been held in June 2024 which was followed by a rigorous construction schedule.
