🪖🌺Kisipatinahk School Veterans Day Ceremony: Today, Kisipatinahk School gathered to honour our veterans and remember their sacrifices. The ceremony opened with a powerful Honour Song by local drummers, followed by heartfelt words from Louis Bull Chief Desmond Bull and Elder Veteran Henry Raine. The Oskâyak Leadership Team honoured our heroes by reading aloud the names of Maskwacis Indigenous Veterans, ensuring their courage and service are never forgotten.
Students and guests joined together in two minutes of silence and listened to In Flanders Fields beautifully read in Cree. The ceremony concluded with a mini round dance.
