I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to my 13 fellow firefighters at the Ermineskin Fire Department for their outstanding efforts today. We faced immense challenges and fought tirelessly, pushing through smoke inhalation, heat, exhaustion, soreness, and fatigue in our battle against this wildfire. Thanks to our unwavering spirit, we successfully saved 12 homes in Ermineskin. It’s heartbreaking that we couldn’t protect two homes from this devastating fire, and my thoughts and prayers are with those affected by this tragedy. I am incredibly proud of our dedication and resilience. Great job, my brothers!
I also want to Maskwacis Fire Department in arms at the Maskwacis Fire Department and Louis Bull Fire Department. If it weren’t for our nations coming together since the outset of this fire, the situation could have been far more devastating. It was the collective efforts of all our communities that helped combat the flames and mitigate the damage.
Finally, thank you to everyone else who came out to support us in any way possible. Your assistance was deeply appreciated by all of us. Hiy-Hiy!
P.S Thank you to my Brother @AM for fighting with me in the truck today, you got my back, and I got yours, and videos.
