What You’ll Do:
Support counsellors in youth-focused programs 💬
Provide mentorship and guidance 🤝
Create safe and empowering spaces for growth 🌟

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
A diploma or degree from a recognized university or college in counselling, social work, child and youth care, or a related field.
A current certificate in addictions counselling or related training.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Experience working with youth in a therapeutic or community setting.
Knowledge of traditional and contemporary Indigenous healing practices.
Experience working in collaboration with Elders, Healers, and clinicians.
Ability to build trust and be a positive role model for youth, staff, and the community.
Willingness to participate in the Accreditation process.
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum of two (2) years sobriety.
Current First Aid and CPR Certificate.
Must provide a Criminal Record Check and Child Welfare Information System (CWIS) check.
Ability to speak a First Nations language is an asset.
Knowledge of First Nations culture and traditions is strongly valued.
Commitment to confidentiality, integrity, and respect for community.
A valid driver’s license and driver’s abstract is an asset.
Must sign an Oath of Confidentiality, Conflict of Interest, and Code of Conduct form.
MUST BE COMMITTED and ABSTAIN from drugs and alcohol.
