A heartfelt thank you to all attendees, dedicated members, speakers and sponsors for making CCIB’s Central Business Forum & Indigenous Women in Leadership Award Dinner truly impactful.
We came together to engage in bold conversations, spark new collaborations, and spotlight Indigenous business excellence across Canada.
One highlight included a major announcement from First Nations Bank of Canada CEO Bill Lomax and BDC CEO Isabelle Hudon, who announced a new $100 million joint initiative to accelerate Indigenous business acquisitions across Canada.
We heard from many strong voices and gained actionable insights on the current political landscape, the power of AI, the empowerment of Indigenous women entrepreneurs, trade, Indigenous-led economic development, and moving beyond DEI.
The Indigenous Women in Leadership Award Dinner was a truly special and meaningful evening. We were proud to honour Ruby Littlechild, CCIB’s 2025 Indigenous Women in Leadership Award recipient. Our keynote speaker, Waneek Horn-Miller, reminded us of the enduring power of Indigenous women, their legacy of leadership, and their unshakable spirit.
Miigwetch to everyone who helped make this event a success. Your presence and contributions continue to drive positive change.
