I’m beyond proud of this group of girls! This is my second year skating with them, and it’s been so amazing watching their progression from last year. We had our skates going throughout the year, and had them bond as a group at events from the Maskwacis Female Hockey Camp to the Treaty 6 Reign Hockey Tournament. We had a hell of a run at treaties this year making it to the final. We eventually came up short but these girls played awesome and kept battling back. It was a great learning experience for our girls to be in these intense games and feel all the emotions from the game of hockey. Again, I’m super proud of these girls and how well they played this weekend. Thank you to Coach Ty and Coach Darcell for this weekend and thank you to the managers for all your hard work. Thank you to the parents this weekend, I know it can be hectic driving from rink to rink and those early morning games! 🏒
