Good morning, Although they were not mentioned (not intentionally 🙏🏾),
Ermineskin Public Works deserves a special shoutout. 🙌🏾 They were all out there till after dark giving a hand with traffic control at the 611 west train crossing as well as keeping the fire at bay with all of their equipment on the north part of Ermineskin. One of their crew had to be assessed afterward at the hospital for smoke inhalation, thankfully he’s ok and at home now. At the end of the evening, they were all talking about how these two moniyaw farmers showed up out of nowhere with their machinery – these unnamed, unsung heroes – they said they were also instrumental in keeping the fire from spreading further north. 🙌🏾 Thankful that no lives were lost. Very awesome to see all of our communities come together to do what had to be done! 🙌🏾
