Today we wear orange shirts to remember, and promote awareness about residential schools in Canada. We honor all survivors, and those who were lost. We had an assembly in the morning in which our Cree
instructor Bill Lightning explained why we wear orange shirts and the history behind residential schools. Our awasisak will continue to read books and do class projects to learn why orange shirt day is so important. We will share more pictures throughout the day.
