🌠2025 MESC Oskâyak Conference: This one-day, high-energy event is a celebration of student voice, culture, and leadership that will take place on Friday, May 30th at Maskwacîs Cree High School from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
The annual Oskâyak Conference is a closed event exclusively organized for MESC students. This year’s theme is Miyowîcehtowin or “Getting Along,” the Oskâyak Conference brings together all Oskâyak from across MESC schools to recognize their role in shaping the future of education. There will also be interactive break out sessions, games, door prizes, and many opportunities to connect with peers, staff, and community as well as a keynote presentation from special guests Kairyn Potts and Scott Wabano.
As part of this experience, students are encouraged to complete the Oskâyak (Youth) Survey. It’s a chance to share your voice, help improve our schools, and shape the learning experiences that matter most to you. The survey can be found at MESC’s Student Engagement Zone at https://engage.maskwacised.ca/oskayak-conference.
