Today is the 2nd and last day of the 2023 DV Conference. We started the morning with a recap of yesterday, a delicious breakfast and opened with a prayer from Elder Rita Cutknife. This morning’s discussion was
about the “Impact of Trauma in Childhood due to Domestic Violence”. During lunch, we watched a documentary called “Home Fire – Ending the Cycle of Violence”This afternoon we will hear from the RCMP about Taking Action Against Domestic Violence as well as hear from other speakers such as Colinda Laviolette and Kelly Karius.
