Program Hours of Operation: Monday – Friday 8:30 – 4:30 p.m.


A.M. Class: Tuesday – Wednesday – Thursday, 9:00 – 11:30 a.m.
P.M. Class: Tuesday – Wednesday – Thursday,12:30 – 3:00 p.m.

 

Philosophy (Program Beliefs)
Early childhood education philosophy is children will learn through play, they will learn social, physical, intellectual, cognitive and emotional skills, through hands-on experiences and using all of their senses.


Aboriginal Head Start On-Reserve (AHSOR)
The Aboriginal Head Start On-Reserve initiative is designed to prepare young First Nations children for their school years by meeting their emotional, social, health, nutrition, and psychological needs. The initiative is intended to encourage culture and language, education, health promotion, nutrition, social support and parental involvement.


AHSOR focuses on six program components:
• Culture and Language
• Education
• Health
• Nutrition
• Social Support
• Parental Involvement
