Day, one of six of the Chief and Council Orientation for the newly elected Chief Joel Mykat, and to new council, Trudy Whitebear, former council Cheryl Littlechild, as well as returning councillors, Jason
Mackinaw and Nina Makinaw. Day one starts off with Dr. Wilton Littlechild delivering a presentation on Sovereignty, Inherent and Treaty Rights. He will speak about Nature’s Law, Declaration of First Nations and the Ermineskin Cree Nation‘s Constitution.
The days following will have presentations on governance and leadership, ECN laws and by laws and department presentations.
